Situated just a few metres from 9 de Julio Avenue, in the city centre, the El Conquistador Hotel offers easy access to business centres, malls, theatres, restaurants and parks.

The 4-star hotel lies only a few blocks from the Obelisk and San Martin Square, 2 of the main attractions of Buenos Aires.

Exquisite plates and the sky of Buenos Aires welcome you in the restaurant Refugio del Sol, which is situated on the upper floor of the hotel. A lobby bar in also available at the reception.

Great location, quiet in room, decent breakfast and good value room rate

Average room decor with no view, we had to keep net curtains drawn as we looked out closely onto other hotel room windows

The staff was very helpful. The location was central and close to restaurants and shops and sites. The hotel was clean. I liked the breakfast buffet.

I felt the rooms needed renovation - they seemed a bit dingy. The tub was very slippery and could have used some kleenex.

The design and busboy service. Also free internet usage on second floor. It is also a relatively new hotel and well maintained. On same street as a few sex shops (it didn't bother us). Good location. Walking distance to Florida and San Martin.

The hotel provdes free wireless internet access which is very useful. The hotel also allows the use of the shower and sauna for guests with late evening flights

The location is excellent. It was close to the Retiro train station and Plaza San Martin where my business meeting was held (Circulo Militar). The pedestrian shopping street Florida is just 3 blocks away. The widest street Ave 9 de Julio is just one block away in the other direction. The continental breakfast at the hotel had hot and cold food, not just rolls and cereals.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Thermostat controls were not existent and room temperature was hard to regulate.

El desayuno y la tranquilidad del Hotel sin ruidos. Todo muy limpio.

Considero que el check out a las 10 am es muy temprano debiera ser a las 12 del dia.
